  3. Personality • Neurologists usually need a good personality. • You need to know how to understand the patients feelings. • You also need to be kind and also devoted to your job.

Job Description • Neurologists examine patients who have a problem with their nervous system. • They need to test the patient’s abilitieslike memory, speech, and sensation. • Discuss various studies of the nervous system. • They also have to attend various meetings to understand new ways of helping patients.

  5. Skills Needed • Providing medical care and treatment to people • Being interested in human biology • Observing people.

  6. Working Conditions • Most neurologists and neuroscientists are employed full-time. • Pros: Spending time visiting other patients in the hospital and reviewing their progress. • Cons: Working a 5-day, 40 to 50-hour week. • Neurologists are employed by hospitals and medical clinics.
