The poodle breed comes in three different variations. The standard poodle, being the largest, the miniature poodle, and the toy poodle, being the smallest.   3. Origin Of Poodle The poodle breed was originally bred in Germany, but later standardized in the country of France. When the Germans bred the poodle they wanted to make it a type of water dog.
