  2. Notice: • Today is going to be a general work/make-up day. If you have missed assignments or presentations, now is your chance to go over them through either schoology or learning.com • If you do not have any make-up work, please follow along with the presentation.

  3. Hotkeys • A hotkey or keyboard shortcut is a series of one or more keys that invoke an operation • Rather than performing every action with your mouse and cursor, hotkeys can be valuable time-savers when using any software

  5. Common Windows Hotkeys • Alt-F4 – close window • Alt-Tab – change window • Ctl-W – close tab • Ctl-Tab – change tab • Ctl-Alt-Del – lock screen

  6. Common Program Hotkeys • Ctl-X – cut • Ctl-C – copy • Ctl-V – paste • Ctl-S – save • Ctl-Shift-S – save as • Ctl-Z – undo • Ctl-Y OR Ctl-Shift-Z – redo • Ctl-Scrollwheel – zoom in/out

  9. MS Paint • MS Paint is a basic digital graphics editing program; while not the most robust graphics editor, it can be useful if used well. • Like all Microsoft editors, Paint now uses what is referred to as a “ribbon interface”
