  3. THE ISSUE Readers are wished happy birthdays in their birthday month. Happy Birthday! Happy 12th birthday to Elie Weiss, a reader of Mathareena Boppis. He will turn 12 on February 8. MOPPPASTOP The north pole of the planet was the land of Histor, where the Historians lived and worked. The south pole of the planet was the land of Scient, where the Scientists lived and worked. Between Histor and Scient there was a large ocean and one funny-shaped land mass. Everybody but the Historians and Scientists lived on this land mass, and every country besides Histor and Scient had a part in this land mass. Mopppastop Issue 3—HISTOR After three long months of traveling, the Mathematicians and Strate Lein landed in The Present, capital of Histor. On this page, there are math tricks, math games, Mathareena Boppis quizzes, and things that don't fit these specific categories, but just fit the general category of "fun." Games and fun will hopefully be added all the time. Mathematchics: Instructions Here you have it, folks. Unless you read Nirrum Negative Numbers, Part III, you won't know who was called "the Martian." In an earlier episode we found "Silly ", "Monster", and "Sonny". In these math match-its (otherwise known as the Mathematchics), you must match the name somebody was called by somebody else (like Sonny) with their actual name (if Sonny was Rubey-Dubey, which he is NOT, then you would match "a. Sonny" to "1. Rubey-Dubey" and write "a.1.").
