  1. SHS Daily Announcements 2014-15 There are still some red long sleeve shirts and “Class of 16” baseball shirts for sale. The cost is $17 each. If you are interested, please see Mrs. Vega in A213. Thanks

SHS Daily Announcements 2014-15 The SHS boys wrestling team finished 3rd at the district tournament on Saturday, February 7th!  The girls wrestling team finished second.  District champions include Emilio Rogers, Jaclyn McNichols, and Lauren Rosas.  Seven boys and all nine girls qualified for the regional tournament at Frisco Liberty! Congratulations!!

  3. SHS Daily Announcements 2014-15 We have our VASE Visual Arts Scholastic Event Regional results!!!!! Out of 70 students that went to regionals we had 6 qualify for State (twice as many as last year)!!!! Gaby Underwood, Micayla Garza, Chynna Sapnu, Elana Ross, Riley Carlson, and Justin Lowery.  They will be going to State in April.  17 students received perfect scores for their art work and 53 students made a 4 which is the highest score they could receive.  We are very proud of our students, please congratulate them when you see them and we will be displaying all of the artwork soon in the display cases across from the auditorium.  YAY!!!!! Creative, amazing art students!!!!!!

  4. SHS Daily Announcements 2014-15 Steven Hernandez came in first place in the Lions Club International Drug Awareness Poster Contest.  He won a grand  prize of $150. Congratulations Steven!

  5. SHS Daily Announcements 2014-15 There will be an NHS meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 11th, before school A109, after school B116.

  6. SHS Daily Announcements 2014-15 SHS Cheer Tryouts Packets available 2/9-2/25 in front office. COMPLETED packet due at SHS no later than 5pm, Thursday, 2/26/15. Turn in to Cochrane, Rm A106, or Carter, C102, before then. Cheer clinic 3/17-3/19 in SHS cheer gym and tryouts 3/20 in cheer gym. MANDATORY candidate/parent meeting 3/3 at 6pm at SHS rm B115. All information is on the cheer website calendar

  7. SHS Daily Announcements 2014-15 Driver’s Education Information Sheet for SHS and CTHS The total cost of Driver Education is $300 upfront. No payment arrangement. Registration for this class is on Wednesday, 3/18/15 @ 5pm. Cash, check, or money orders, please. Class dates: March 23 - April 13 Times: 5:30am - 7:30am - Instructor – Ben Huddleston 4:30pm- 6:30pm – Instructor – Gene Vestal Location: B115 Lecture Hall – Saginaw High School No absences are allowed See SHS website for more information

  8. SHS Daily Announcements 2014-15 QUARTERS AUCTION Please join us for the SHSProject Graduation Class of 2015 Quarters Auction. Monday, Feb. 23, 2015 in the SHS Cafeteria Doors open - 6:00pm Auction starts sharply at 7:00pm Must be 18 to participate. See SHS website for more information

  9. SHS Daily Announcements 2014-15 It’s that time to register and pay for AP Exams!!! You can come by the College & Career Center during your lunches to sign up. Find all the needed information on the Saginaw High School website under the College & Career Center page.

  10. SHS Daily Announcements 2014-15 ​UIL Spelling and Science will be meeting on Thursdays @ 4:30 every week in A208.

  11. SHS Daily Announcements 2014-15 French Club meets every Monday after school (4:30-5:00) and Fridays before school ( 8:15-8:45). We have a lot of activities lined up for this year and, of course, food and fun are guaranteed. Mmmm! Bon Appetit!!! Meetings will be in Room A117. Mme. Chacha

  12. SHS Daily Announcements 2014-15 UIL Mathematics and Number Sense meetings will be on Thursday afternoons right after school in S205.

  13. SHS Daily Announcements 2014-15 UIL Calculator and Computer Science meetings will be on Thursday afternoons right after school in B201.
