  2. “The route of the wine of the Etruscan coast” • The creation of a public-private consortium called “The route of the wine of the Etruscan coast” gave an important incentive to the valorisation of the local productions and of the territory in general.

  3. “The route of the wine of the Etruscan coast” • The consortium, strongly favoured by the Province, is constituted by Municipalities, the Chamber of Commerce, agricultural farms, services companies. • The consortium main aim is to valorise the productions through the direct organisation of field visits to the farms with related tasting inviting at the same time the journalists. Another important activity is that of providing tourist information and assistance through the presence of skilled staff at the headquarters of the Consortium located in Bolgheri, Castagneto Carducci Municipality.

  4. “The route of the wine of the Etruscan coast” • The consortium has established on the territory a real network of farms signaled with special boards along the rural streets taking care both of the quality of the offer and of the relationships linked to the visits and to the direct sell of the products. • The consortium in order to facilitate the contacts and the visibility of the territory of Livorno has created its own web site: “lastradadelvino.com” where you can find a lot of information on the farms members of the consortium.

  5. “The route of the wine of the Etruscan coast” • The province of Livorno uses every year the consortium to coordinate the planning and the participation to the different manifestations and national events where the Province foresees its participation, like Vinitaly. • The consortium represents for the territory an important point of reference to realise a path of environmental use dedicated to tourists and to the economic operators of the sector, in order to present the productive realities of the Province in a coordinated and joint way.
