Public Procurement Guidance for Practitioners on the avoidance of errors in ESI Funded projects • Guidance structured around the 6 main stages of a public procurement process • Toolkitof resources addressing specific topics with concrete examples on what to do and what not to do during the procurement and contract implementation • Focus is on the 25 most common errors observed by our auditors on PP and how these can be easily avoided • Translated into all EU languages N.B. It is not a legal interpretation of the Directives!

Provide a competency framework for efficient management and implementation of the ERDF and CF – incl. a self-assessment tool Expected results? Help MS/regions to • - identify competency and skills gaps among their staff and thus define training and recruitment needs • - structure their administrations in a more efficient way The results can also be used for the development of training modules at national/European levels, and for the development of curricula for academic training programmes on management of Structural Funds. When? By end 2015
