  • Current tools for the fight against organised crime include information technology systems, typically developed ad-hoc for each LEA.
  • Disperse data sources.
  • Importance of these systems reside on their ability to provide evidence and warnings on facts that otherwise would not be detected.
  • Need for optimizing co-ordination between different agencies
  • Limitations apply: dispersed sources of information; various formats, language dependence; interoperability of systems; information sharing and security, and trans-national considerations
  • Tackle the availability of the widest range of information types and sources, data extraction and transformation tools and processes for knowledge management

Sistema de Seguridad de la Información en la nube para proteger las Infraestructuras Críticas
  • Proyecto de I+D financiado por MICINN (INNPACTO)
    • Sistema de Gestión de Seguridad de la Información (SGSI) a través de la nube, especificado y validado por los usuarios finales, que permita la detección de alertas tempranas de ciberataques sobre las Infraestructuras Críticas
      • Herramientas que permitan el análisis de la información relativa a las vulnerabilidades que pueden afectar dispositivos empleados en los sistemas de control
      • Su provisión como un servicio en la nube, de modo que las organizaciones no necesitarán tener instalado un SGSI propio
      • Seguir los estándares de seguridad contemplados (ISO 27001, ISO 27000, S/CMM, etc.
      • Colaboración de CNN-CERT, Andalucía-CERT y operadores de infraestructuras relevantes.
      • Plazo de ejecución de 30 meses (Julio 2011 – Enero – 2014)
