Chapter 12 - Symbolism • As we read today, you are going to be asked to find (3) pictures/images to represent various parts of the chapter. • Please ADD this to your already existing Keynote presentation from Chapter 3. • Please use the slide set up that is pictured on the previous slide. • Here are the stopping points: • after 136 - Find a picture/image that represents Oher’s life at Briarcrest. • after 142- Find a picture that represents Oher’s life with the Tuohys. • after 143 – Find a picture/image that represents Oher’s mom and family.

  3. One more step • Look over all three of your pictures. Determine which you feels like demonstrates your strongest HOTS thinking. • Now, add 2-3 sentences to THAT SLIDE ONLY to show your thinking. • See the example on the next slide.

  4. Example from chapter 3 I chose this picture because it is dark and gloomy, plus this tree is all by itself. This was a dark time in Michael’s life when he felt very isolated and dreary, much like the tree is in this picture.
