Ancient Egyptians viewed the world through a lens of divine influence, attributing natural phenomena to the gods and goddesses they worshipped. Among these deities was Anubis, the god of embalming and tombs, depicted with a man's body and the head of a jackal. Anubis played a crucial role in guiding the dead through the afterlife and weighing their hearts against Ma'at's feather to determine their fate. This belief system illustrates how ancient Egyptians navigated life and death through their understanding of the divine.
