  4. North America Carbon Market North America • CCA and LZ are leading the effort to assemble a North America-focused news product • Targeting a September 1st publication date

  5. North America Carbon Market Analyst • Distributed free of charge to customers and prospects (US & Canada) • Important piece of marketing collateral for the launch of the North American operation. • Targeting a September 1st publication date

  6. North America Carbon Market Analyst - topics • Opportunities for US companies in CDM/JI • The potential effect of carbon restrictions on the US power sector • How we expect carbon markets to develop in North America

  7. North America Carbon Market Monitor • VB and ET are working on enhancing North American content in anticipation of our September launch

  8. North America Conference • Conference in Washington DC in December • 1 ½ days – Stream/panels, half-day workshop • Working with potential co-organizers, speakers and sponsors • HD and the conference team are involved in this process

  9. North America Research and Advisory • We are in active discussions with a number of US entities regarding possible research and advisory projects • KOK, JB and KT are heavily involved in these discussions • Those in Oslo might note the high-level visit of the California Public Utilities Commission to our headquarters this week on July 10th

  10. North America Power and Gas • We are exploring the feasibility of extending our power and gas analysis services to specific natural gas and power markets in North America

  11. North America Organization • We are currently recruiting for a junior salesperson to add to the DC team • This individual’s primary responsibilities will be telemarketing in support of Carbon Market Standard sales and any launch conference • We plan to bring this person to Oslo for two weeks for work and coordination with the Oslo business development team
