  2. A VIRTUAL CLASS • Moodle is a free software e-learning platform designed to help educators to create online courses with opportunities for rich interaction. One of the main advantages of this virtual class is that the teacher can control everything that is happening in the platform. The teachers can see and correct (when necessary) the activities that the students have done. It has several applications.

  4. CHATS • Two people need to be in front of the computer at the same time in order to communicate. • Students can use it to do writing activities with their project partners. The teacher can see the conversations that students keep in the chat. They have to be respectful and in English. Students can chat after the class

  5. FORUMS • It’s a place to debate, discuss and share and give ideas Students can take participate of different forums.

  6. E-MAIL: Students send e-mails to other students.WIKI: It’s a website that allows users to add, remove and edit content. LINKS In the online course it’s possible to link videos, listening activities (pod casts), reading and writing activities, grammar and vocabulary activities, treasure hunts, webquests...

  7. BLOG • A blog is a free persoal space that each student can have on the internet to write about their own experiences feelings and opinions. It can be used as a personal diary for the students. • http://blocs.xtec.cat/

Here you will find a lot of messages written by young people who want to find penfriends, mainly from Europe. You can either write a short message on the board, or read the messages already there.

This site connects classrooms from 103 countries.
