  3. We all know that Native Americans were here before European explorers. How do you think they got here? Work with your neighbor to come up with 3 possible scenarios. c3socialstudies.com

  4. Early humans had to have shelter to survive, but they didn’t all have trees to use to build their homes! Class Challenge: See how many natural resources you can list that could be used for shelter… c3socialstudies.com

  5. Technology: things humans create or use for a specific purpose. Class Challenge: see how many different tools (technology) of Native Americans you can list! c3socialstudies.com

  6. Native Americans in different regions adapted according to their environment. Based on what you know about the geography of the United States, make 3 inferences about how natives living in specific regions might need to adapt. Think: How did they get food and shelter. What resources would have been available? What resources would have been scarce? c3socialstudies.com
