The 2012 XHS Performing Arts Spring Break Trip

BACKGROUND & TOUR COMPANY:
  • Xavier music ensembles travel every–other year (even years).
    • 2012: New Orleans & Memphis
    • 2010: The Bahamas
    • 2008: San Francisco
    • 2006: Disney World
    • 2004: New York City
  • The trip is NOT required, but is encouraged.
  • This year, students will have the opportunity to perform AND do service.
  • We use a very reputable student travel agency: Bob Rogers Travel.

DATES:
  • The trip will occur during Spring Break 2012.
  • The exact dates are:
    • Departure: Monday, April 9
    • Arrive Home: Sunday, April 16

  • Self–guided tour of Pearl Harbor’s USS Arizona Memorial
  • Self–guided tour of Pearl Harbor’s USS Missouri

  • Visit to the beach
  • Visit to the International Marketplace

  • Each group will be performing in New Orleans and at Graceland!
  • There will be half a day in New Orleans where we will have the opportunity to complete a service project together. Details about this project will be shared as they are confirmed.

FRUIT SALE FUNDS:
  • Fruit sale funds can be applied to the cost of this trip, so SELL FRUIT!
  • This year’s fruit sale ends Friday, November 11.
  • More information about the transfer process will be forthcoming.

INDIVIDUAL PAYMENT SYSTEM:
  • We have elected to utilize Bob Rogers Travel Individual Payment System (IPS) to collect trip payments.
