This study focuses on computation and flow control of a dual-stream jet with fan-flow deflectors for noise reduction. Computational models and configurations for a 2-vane and 4-vane caes JST scheme are explored using an explicit time-marching multi-block MPI computational approach. The flow control equation is the 3D Reynolds-Average Navier-Stokes equation. The CFD code used is ParCAE program with a turbulence model of k-ωSST. Preconditioning involves a computational grid setup including base nozzle, vane grids (A-G), and axial velocity profiles for analysis. Additionally, transverse velocity and TKE contours are computed for the base nozzle and various vanes. Experiment-computational isocontours of axial and radial velocity gradients are displayed for further analysis.
