Some features of a Stairlift. Hold-to-run push buttons. A stairlift has “hold to run” push buttons which will make the stairlift stop immediately if the button is released. A stairlift has “an Emergency push button” to activate if necessary that will immediately stop the stairlift.

  2. Hold-to-run push buttons • A stairlift has “hold to run” push buttons which will make the stairlift stop immediately if the button is released. • A stairlift has “an Emergency push button” to • activate if necessary that will immediately stop the stairlift.

  3. Travel speed is maximum 0,15 metres per second.It does not travel automatically • The speed of a Stairlift must not exceed 0,15 m/s. • The slow speed will limit the stopping distance of a moving Stairlift to a maximum of 15 mm. • Stairlifts do not travel automatically.

  4. Sensitive safety edges • Sensitive safety edges protection are mounted on the the platform • Sensitive safety edge protection is mounted on the body of the Stairlift, • Sensitive safety surface is mounted under the platform
