French CCI« a public network led by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs » • One regional CCI per region in France • All local CCI are public entities « linked » to the regional CCI • Each local CCI is a legally independant entity • A regional « hierarchy » with a pooling of human and financial ressources • Main missions of the regional CCI • Supervise and support all local CCI’s activities • Define the strategy of the regional network of CCI • Adopt the budget • Distribute the tax ressource • Is the legal employer of all CCI employees

  6. The role of ACFCI • Lead the Chambers’ network • Define a national strategy • Manage national projects • Provide legal and financial support, as well as institutional communication services • Define a national human ressources policy • Audit the network • Coordinate the international activity

  8. CCI International A NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR THE FRENCH CCI NETWORK • The Association is based in Paris • Its members are • ACFCI • UCCIFE • All Regional CCI • All French Chambers of Commerce and Industry Abroad

  9. CCI International A NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR THE FRENCH CCI NETWORK • To indicate the access to a « TOOL BOX » of services for all international development • To better communicate about French CCI activities and services • To reinforce all regional CCI networks in France

CCI International A NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR THE FRENCH CCI NETWORK • 1st objective: To contribute to the ongoing professionalization and organisation of the French CCI network • Regional coordination of all international development services and ressources • Implementation of common services and activities in all chambers • Development throughout France under the same name « CCI International » while respecting the local networks

CCI International A NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR THE FRENCH CCI NETWORK • 2nd objective: Improvement of services for more growth (increase of French foreign trade figures) and employment in France • Partnership agreement : French Industry and Foreign Trade Ministry -UBIFRANCE-ACFCI-UCCIFE : Identification of 6 000 new « high potential » companies between 20y 2012-2014 • Development and implementation of a « detection-coaching » program (French companies with an export potential) : detect and support the internationalization of 9 000 new exporters between 2012-2014 • Increase all CCI INTERNATIONAL communication : 1,000 events organized by the CCI in 2011 : www.cci.fr

CCI International A NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR THE FRENCH CCI NETWORK • 3rd objective: Collaboration strengthened with UCCIFE (French CCI Abroad) and all partners of the « French Export Team » • Promotion of the French export program - « Programme France Export » (www.programme-france-export.fr) – Contribution of CCI • Better collaboration with French Chambers of Commerce Abroad • More communication on the importance for French companies to go international • National pavilions in FRANCE major trade shows

CCIFC – FRENCH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY IN CHINA • CCIFC : created in 1992 in Beijing • Offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Canton, Shenzhen and Chengdu • 1 355 members : 48% have been less than 5 years in China • 40 staff members / 1 national elected president • Local partnerships : Ubifrance, French Embassy, French Foreign Trade Advisors, French CCI (Paris CCI), European SME Centre (EU commission), AFII (French International Investments Agency – French Industry and Foreign Trade Ministry )
