  3. 1925 - a group of soccerenthusiastsestablishesthe first football clubinthetown of Bobrowniki Śląskie (now a district of Tarnowskie Góry). The name of theclubchangedovertheyears: 1925 – „Sokół” The 1930’s – „Jutrzenka” AfterWorld War II – „Polonia” Since 1957 – „Górnik Bobrowniki Śląskie”

  4. INFRASTRUCTURE

Until 1987 – a woodenbarrack and a football field Since 1987 – a brickbuildingbuiltwithsupport of theDolomite Plant in Bytom Since that time a lot of renovationworkhasbeendonethanks to privatesponsors: 1998 - first general renovation 2000 - a fencehasbeenbuilt 2004 - opening of theatheticrenewalfacilitiesinthebasement of thebuilding 2007 – a tenniscourt and a beachvolleyball field opened to the community

  6. 2008-2011 – theMunicipality of Tarnowskie Góry dedicatedEUR 130.000 to thethoroughrenovation of theclub, as a recognition of thecommitmentmade by theclubmembers to raiseitsstandards

  7. ADMINISTRATIVE STRUCTURE AND STATUTES

  8. The clubis an association. Itsauthoritiesarechosenevery 4 years by theannual general meeting of themembers. CLUB AUTHORITIES:

  9. Thereare 4 sportsinstructors and 95 athletes.

  10. THE GROWTH IN THE NUMER OF CLUB MEMBERS

Themission of theclub: •Propagatingsports, culture and tourism • Trainingfreshmen, junior and senior soccerplayers and participatinginsoccercompetitions • Organizingfree time for thelocalresidents: cultureevents, festivals, football, tennis and beachvolleyballcompetitions, cross-country running

  12. CLUB BUDGET

  13. Theclubis a non-profit organization. Themanagment and themembers do not receiveremuneration for theirwork. Theclubfinancesitsactivitieswith: •donationsfromthemunicipality • memberfees • contributionsmade by privatesponsors

  17. In spite of smallbudget we have 95 athletes on football, tennis and beachvolleyballteams and participatein many competitions. In soccerour team is on the 3rd spot inthe city of Tarnowskie Góry. 3 of ourformerplayers play nowinthePolish 1st league.
