  2. Create A New Project

  3. MLA Starter • Name Your Project • Create Project

  4. Click on Bibliography

  5. Step 1: Book • Click on down arrow • Select the citation type • Click on Create Citation

  6. Step 2: Book • Most of the time, Click on Print • Click on Next

  7. Step 3: Book • Type in Author’s info • Click on Add • Fill in remaining info • Click on Check Spelling • Click on Resume Editing • Click on

  8. ONLINE ENCYCLOPEDIA To Add another resource Step 1: • Click on down arrow • Select the citation type • Click on Create Citation

  9. ONLINE ENCYCLOPEDIA Step 2: Most of the time, Click on Online(or Print if that is what you used) Click on Next

  10. ONLINE ENCYCLOPEDIA Step 3: • Click on the type of resource

  11. ONLINE ENCYCLOPEDIA Step 4: • Always click on NO • Click Next

  12. Step 5: • Type in Author’s info • Click on Add • Fill in remaining info • Click on Check Spelling • Click on Resume Editing • Click on ONLINE ENCYCLOPEDIA

  13. WEB SITES Step 1: • Click on down arrow • Select the citation type • Click on Create Citation

  14. Step 2: Type in Author’s info if available Click on Add Fill in remaining info Click on Check Spelling & Preview Click on Resume Editing Click on WEB SITES

  15. To print out your Works Cited list • Click on the citations you want to include • Make sure Sort is set to Alphabetic • Click on Save as Word Doc 

  16. Click on Export and Print

  17. MS Word will automatically open up your Works Cited list • Add Your Name, Teacher and the period that you meet with them. • Save as you normally do to your folder • Now you can Print

  18. Remember for this assignment • You need to create a citation for three sources • Website • Book • Online Encyclopedia
