Intravesical drug is transferred by passive diffusion.

  • dilution by diuresis

  • thin bladder mucosa
  • no dilution by diuresis due to high pressure

2. Place special dilator balloon catheter

3. Blow up the balloon under continuous pressure control - measured inside the balloon
