  4. Pros • Iowa residents and Iowa DNR • Brings added publicity • Large demand, limited supply means high price • Keeps price of resident tags under $100 (Barringer) • Non-profit organization fundraiser • $6,000-$10,900 (Gazette) • Iowa Bowhunters Association, Hunters Fighting Hunger

  5. Cons • Nonresident hunters and a few residents • Celebrity Tags • Bypassing the wait list due to celebrity status • Unnecessary publicity (Beeman) • Promotion of poaching and “party hunting” (Bradley)

  6. Mediation • Reduce the number of Governor’s Tags • Add half of those tags to the 6,000 nonresident tags • Make other half available for Veterans
