  2. MANAGING THE CHAPTER • REGULAR EXECUTIVE/BOARD MEETINGS • REGULAR WEEKLY & OUTREACH MEETINGS • CHAPTER REVIEW/EVALUATION MEETINGS • CHAPTER BUSINESS MEETINGS • FUNCTIONAL COMMITTEES • ANNUAL ELECTIONS • HARMONY WITH NATIONAL OFFICERS

Must be held within one week after Meeting. • To ensure objectives for meeting were achieved. • To ensure planned programme was on track. • To ensure performers delivered to standards. • Send a ‘Thank You’ letter or Card to Main Speaker. • Please note to give the Speaker reasonable (preferably generous) honorarium • immediately after the Meeting. 1. CHAPTER REVIEW/EVALUATION MEETING:-

Chapter Review/Evaluation Meeting Actions to take include: • Evaluate the Main Speaker • Counseling Director to coordinate discipleship class • Membership Director to review and report on members who were absent for follow-up action including planned visits to the sick and ‘submarine’ members • Prayer Director to review and report on prayer requests and direct prayer action • Treasurer to give an Income & Expenditure statement on the Meeting • Treasurer confirms payment of all bills and tithe to National Office or issue checks in settlement

Chapter Business Meeting Attended by registered members only The Agenda must include: • Report from Sector Field Representative, who must be present at least once a quarter, on International, National and Sector matters and developments • Review Report from the Chapter President on Chapter performance against set targets • Report from Vice-President on Training and Seminars • Reports from Directors or Chairmen of Committees • Report, supported by Financial Statement, by the Treasurer • General Discussion and Resolutions

  6. NECESSARY ANNUAL ACTIONS • GOAL SETTING • ACTION PLANS • ANNUAL BUDGETS • ANNUAL ELECTIONS (OCTOBER) • APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTORS OR CHAIRMEN OF COMMITTEES • STRIVE HARD TO MEET NATIONAL OBLIGATIONS

  7. ESSENTIAL COMMITTEES • Prayer • Counselling – (New members & Follow up) • Membership – (Visitation/Welfare) • Meals • Ushering • Protocol & Publicity2/Hospitality • Voice & Literature • Outreach • Business

DISCIPLESPLESHIP/NEW MEMBERS CLASSES • This must be taken very seriously • Each new Member must be given a copy of “Now that You have Received Christ” by the chapter • Use that booklet “Now that You Have Received Christ” for the Discipleship/New Membership classes • Teach them the Vision, Mission and Mandate of the fellowship before they are registered • Teach them also “who a FGBMFI member is” • Before registration each person must be taught and baptised in the Holy Spirit • Each new member must be made to acquire a copies of “Super ALTS II” and “ The Happiest People on Earth”

ELECTION OF OFFICERS (CHAPTER LEVEL) • Elections are held annually – October each year • The Sector F/R supervises these elections • November and December are used to prepare the New Executives to take office in January the following year • The elections are based solely on prayer and the guidance of the Holy Spirit • Ladies do not vote or hold any executive positions presently • Ordained ministers also do not hold any executive positions • Only registered members (men) for that year can vote • All members qualify to stand for any office of their choice except new believers  • National Office must be furnished with the details of the elected Executives by the middle of November

  12. TOOLS FOR STABILITY AND GROWTH • FERVENT PRAYER • ACTIVE COUNSELING COMMITTEE • FOLLOW-UP & EFFECTIVE DISCIPLESHIP CLASSES • ATTRACTIVE AND VALUE-ADDING WEEKLY SEMINARS • MARKETPLACE & FIRE TEAM OUTREACHES (MPOs, FTOs ETC)

  13. continued • BUSSINESS-LIKE MEETINGS • VOICE DISTRIBUTION – targeted groups or institutions • RICH MONTHLY OUTREACHES • REGULAR CHEERFUL GIVING • REGULAR HOLY SPIRIT BAPTISM FOR NEW MEMBERS • REGULAR TRAINING AND CAPACITY BUILDING

  14. MAJOR CHALLENGES • UNSTABLE & INEFFECTIVE LEADERSHIP • INEFFECTIVE DISCIPLESHIP CLASSES • UNATTRACTIVE WEEKLY SEMINARS • INEFFECTIVE FOLLOW UP • IMPROPER FELLOWSHIP • MEMBERS UNWILLING TO GIVE • NO REGULAR HOLY SPIRIT BAPTISM
