  15. IN - HPRP HMIS: • The HPRP license is distinct from the HUD McKinney-Vento and/or the Family Development Network HMIS. Users of other HMIS program types will have to log off of one and log on to the other. • Specific HPRP HMIS training will occur during the 3 day September training but will also be available via on line webinars. • HMIS HPRP agreements will be sent out early next week. Please begin to discuss needed user licenses.

  16. IN -HPRP Clarifications: • The total length of time any HPRP assistance may be rendered to a participant is 18 months. This applies to all Housing Relocation and Stabilization Services as well as to direct Financial Assistance. • Each Sub grantee is required to maintain documentation of essential eligibility criteria, e.g. income verification, habitability inspections, etc. A standard file format will be defined to facilitate auditing.

  17. IN - HPRH Clarifications: • The IHOP will be available in October, 2009 . Separate training will be provided. • A HPRP participant maintains their homeless status while in the program and can be qualified for other long term programs while receiving HPRP assistance. • Prevention in the HPRP is based on the immediacy of the risk of homelessness. This is HUD’s “but for” test. Therefore, being on a Section 8 waiting list is not an automatic qualification for HPRP.
