Do Now • List 3 things that you learned or remembered most about the lessons in Google Docs this week?
Review: • Position the insertion pointer in the paragraph you want to hang and indent. • Click the Page Layout tab in the Ribbon. • Open the Paragraph dialog box by clicking the Dialog Box Launcher button in the lower-right corner of the Paragraph group. • In the Indentation area, select the Hanging option from the Special drop-down list. • Click OK.
In Google Docs • Type your paragraph. • Go to the first line. • Go to the end of the line. Hit the "enter" key -- aka do a hard return. • Click "Format," "Paragraph" and indent. • The result will be that the first line will be aligned on the margin, while the rest of the paragraph will be indented.
Milestone #2: 1st MLA Draft • Please have the 1st draft of your MLA – Hispanic Heritage research paper submitted by 4:00 PM on Friday, October 4, 2013. • In your 1st Draft please include the following: • Double Spacing • Work Cited page (hint: hanging indentation) • In-Text Citations • Check spelling and grammar issues • Only 2-pages and 1 Work Cited page = 3 pages
