  1. Summer 2009 Registration(semester begins May 11, 2009) Nursing and Paramedic students: Please read through entire presentation for dates, procedures, and deadlines

  2. First things first:Make sure your FAFSA is current • Your current FAFSA should already be on file with Financial Aid. If you are not sure that this is the case, please visit the Financial Aid Office on the Riverside Campus or call the college’s main number 528-4111 and ask to speak with a Financial Aid Officer. • Taking this simple step before registration will be time saving for you!

  3. The next step: Completing your registration form • Registration forms will be available through your program chair or director • Registration forms should be completed beforeMarch 23 with the assistance of your program faculty. Make sure that the registration form indicates the course code, course title, number of credits attached to the course, and days and times of class meetings.

  4. The next step: Completingyour registration form • If you need to register for a general education course in addition to your Nursing lecture or Paramedic core course, please check the course offerings (a list of these is available on the student intranet) to find the course you need. Add that course information to your registration form before you visit Financial Aid.

  5. Your last step: Registering with Financial Aid • To finalize your registration, you must bring your completed registration form to the Financial Aid Office (on the Riverside campus) during the week of March 23-27th. • The hours that Financial Aid will be open for registration are as follows: Monday-Thursday 10:00-1:00 and 4:00-6:00 Friday 10:00-2:00 The late registration fee ($50.00) is effective after 2pm on March 27. Please plan ahead so that you can register with the FA office on time.

  6. Newly Admitted Nursing students • If you are admitted to Nursing 100 for the May semester, you will be notified by the Nursing Department regarding your Orientation/Registration date. IMPORTANT NOTE If you are admitted to Nursing 100 and you still need to take BIO 235, you will be able to register for Microbiology on March 12 and 13. Please follow Financial Aid hours for registration on those days.

  7. Registration Overview for Nursing/Paramedic students • Make sure your FAFSA is current • Complete a registration form with your department faculty before March 23 • Make time in your schedule the week of March 23-27 to bring your registration to the Financial Aid Office. (please follow hours provided on previous screen) • Late registration fee is effective as of 2pm on March 27
