  10. TERMS OF REFERENCE • The group will be composed by Marine Sciences Librarians from ODINCARSA Member States or Latin American and Caribbean Regional IAMSLIC Group members.

  11. The group will have as its main objective the collection, input and dissemination of the scientific production of the member Institutions into a digital, web based, open access repository for Latin America and the Caribbean

  12. The repository will have a common repository policy. • The repository will be set up a a centralized repository, which can change in a network when local institutes are deciding to set up their own repository.

  13. The server will be initially in the IODE Project Office • The scientific document will include : Articles published in international journals, articles published in local or regional journals, thesis, Reports and other grey literature, Datasets, Photos, pictures and maps.

  14. The standards are: for metadata: Only Dublin Core Unqualified and document formats: PDF – quality: resolution – • The copyright policy will include a copyright agreement or license for the documents submitted to the repository at institutional level or commercial publisher level.

  15. An OAI-PMH (Open Access Initiative- Protocol for Metadata harvester) software will be used for this e-Repository
