It’s easy as 1-2-3 • Step One: The application – download it or take it home • Step Two: Fill it out • Step Three: Mail it in • That’s it!
Step 1: Take it home • Plan to take some time to fill out your application • Have your important papers collected • Keep your application secure once it’s completed • About case worker assistance
Step 3: Mail it in • Send your application to:Durham Housing AuthorityP.O. Box 1731Durham, NC 27702 • Applications cannot be accepted by fax or by dropping off in person at a DHA office.
The hard part – waiting for news • Expect to wait at least 90 days before being contacted by DHA • Information will come from DHA by mail • Keep DHA up-to-date on your current contact information
