CIPC Scope - 1 • To expand awareness and voice to: • CIPC Executive Committee • Electricity Sector Coordinating Council (ESCC) • CIPC Executive Committee recommends the following addition to the CIPC Scope (refer to document): • In addition the CIPC Executive Committee includes, as non-voting participants, named representatives from American Public Power Association, Canadian Electricity Association, Edison Electric Institute, and National Rural Electric Cooperative Association.

  3. CIPC Scope - 2 • If approved by CIPC, the revised scope will be presented to the NERC Board for approval. • If approved by the Board, the ESCC will be revised by letter from the Chair of the ESCC to the Department of Homeland Security.

  4. CIPC Participation • Chair Brindley will send a letter to the NERC Regional Managers and Associations requesting affirmative review of all CIPC members • CIPC working group and task force chairs will be requested to canvas their rosters for continued interest in the work plans and commitment to contribute • Subgroup procedures will be reviewed with other NERC committees
