  10. 30-35 hours in class Classes follow each other 35 Students in class Mandatory & Free Final grade consists of homework & tests Testing is frequent - covering small amounts of material Mastery is seen as the ability to reproduce what was presented MEMORIZATION 12-16 Hours in class Often hours between classes 10-150 Students Voluntary & Expensive Final grade consists of a few tests and/or papers Testing is infrequent & may be cumulative - a lot of material Mastery is seen as the ability to apply what you have learned to new problems UNDERSTANDING Classes: Grades & Tests
