  1. GaryLane I was born August 8, 1995 in Royal Oak Michigan. My parents are Gary and Kristi. I have 5 siblings; 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Their names are Devin(11), Donte(8), Jayvon(5), Kara(8), and Aliyah(1month). I have been to multiple schools including Fraser, Clintondale, and Dakota. Out of the 3 my favorite is Fraser. I have a passion for cars/trucks!

  2. Me (Continued) My Parents separated when I was 6 and both found new people. My dad is married to a woman named Ashley, my step mom. My mother is married to a man named Nick, my step dad. I’ve lived with my father for about 3 years now, and before then I was always moving back and forth.

  3. Getting prepared for leadership The most influential people in my life are my parents and grandparents. They are my inspiration and motivation to being as successful as I possibly can. They are all leaders themselves and their ways tend to rub off on me, which is why I will be as good of a leader as all of them.

  4. Getting prepared for leadership A key part in being a leader is being able to accept and adapt to change. One of the hardest things I have ever done was leaving all my friends at Clintondale to move to Dakota. I had to just accept the fact that I was moving on and make the best of it. Then I had to do it all again, left Dakota for Fraser. It was tough transitioning but I feel it all made me a stronger person and leader.

  5. My Leadership Position The leadership position I see myself in is being the more responsible one. For example, whenever there is a group assignment in school I am always the one taking it home and turning it in. I feel if I'm the one doing all the work then if anything goes wrong, I'm the only one to blame. Whenever I am involved in anything I try to be the one on top of everything so I know everything will be done the way is suppose to.

  6. Becoming a Better Leader If there's one thing I need to work on with my leadership shills, it is patience. I am a very inpatient person and don’t like waiting for anything. I just need to slow down and take things day by day, no rush.

  7. My Strengths I am a very motivated inspired person. If I want something I try my hardest to get it, and usually do. I make all my dreams come true and don’t stop until they become reality. I also don’t like to be last, I like to be first. Whatever I do I make sure I do it the best of my abilities. I like to live by the saying, “Any job big or small, do it right or not at all”. I like being proud of my work.

  8. I am a very impatient person. I cant wait for anything! Weakness To overcome this I will stop being in a rush all the time. I got nothing but time on my hands and I am going to start using it.

  9. Lasting impression I want people to remember me by my cars. I plan on having the most beasty, exotic cars and trucks. I want people to say “Damn, there goes Gary” when they see one of my cars on the road. I also want people to remember me by my determination and motivation.
