1. High-resolution modeling of the Southern Ocean carbon cycle based on ECCO state estimates AIST-99 task initiated in Sept. 2000; original end date Oct. 03
End date extended to June 04 due to funding transfer problems from Howard to NC State
Current TRL is 3; end at TRL=4; final presentation being scheduled
Details from Feb 04 interim report to ESTO mo.:
Demonstrated the effective design and implementation of function cores and configurable microprocessor modules
-Modules use standard control/data units
-Modules can contain several function cores
-Modules can contain several simple and complex instructions.
Developed configurable microprocessor modules that can be automatically selected by a compiler when needed
Completed Prototype RC Testbed
Completed Prototype Compiler
Completed Final Compiler
A 6 month no-cost extension has been approved due to delays in getting funds from Howard to the NC State subcontract
