  3. What is CRAFT?“Complaint, Rate and Form Tracking” • Electronic filing system for Louisiana • Designed for all business types: • Health • Life & Annuity • Property & Casualty • Accessed through our website www.ldi.state.la.us

  4. Allows insurers to: • Respond to consumer complaints • Submit policy form filings • Submit rate and rule filings • Electronically attach supporting documentation • View details and check status of open filings

  5. Why was CRAFT developed? • One comprehensive system • Paperless office • “Speed to Market”

  6. Is CRAFT Mandatory? • All Filing Types are Accepted for Form and Rate Filings • CRAFT • SERFF • Paper • Currently only process available to file complaints

  7. How do you access CRAFT? • CRAFT is available only through the LDOI’s Industry Access portal • Must have an Industry Access User ID and password to work in CRAFT • CRAFT may be accessed through the Industry Access link located on the LDOI’s home webpage

  8. What about security? • CRAFT is part of the LDOI Industry Access Portal • All CRAFT information can only be seen by the specific company to which it belongs • Companies CANNOT view another company’s information

  11. Required fields will be marked with a Red Asterisk (*). The Enter New Rate Filing starts with Step 1. When you finish each step, click Next.

  14. Product Filing Matrix (PFM) • CRAFT Form and Rate filings are directly linked to the PFM • PFM is where you will find: • Statement of Compliance • Certification of Compliance • Instructions • FAQs • Product type searches • Related laws, directives, bulletins...

  15. How do you access PFM? • PFM is accessed through the Product Filing Requirements link found on the LDOI website • PFM can also be accessed through the CRAFT Welcome Page
