  1. Why Invest In Precious Metals

  2. • Over the last year, investors have left precious metals with dump. Costs for metals such as gold have reflected a new ambiance. • Why invest in precious metals? • The white metals of platinum, palladium and silver are just as much about growing industrial production and worldwide growth as they’re about hedging against price rise or offering a safe-investment alternative.

  3. And with such a different range of manufacturing applications outside the world of jewelry and gold, demand for white metals is swelling as industrial production increases

  4. According to Investment Bank, China’s imports of silver assigned for industrial application have now totaled approximately 1,154 tons since the beginning of the year. That is nearly sixteen percent more than it imported during the same period previous year and reflects its current enhancements to its PMI reading, a crucial measurement of industrial production. In the interim, higher PMI readings in the US, the Eurozone & Japan have helped float silver costs. Japan’s solar blast has particularly contributed to its increasing demand for silver. The story is the same for palladium and platinum, which have witnessed worldwide automobile manufacturing rise by about five percent this year. Also helping the duo is rising shale oil & gas exploration in the United States. The metals are needed by converters employed in petrochemical facilities to produce shale gas. The increase in ethane or ethylene production in the United States is a new market for the 2 metals, as are natural gas driven automobiles. • • Simply, international manufacturing growth will increase demand for the white metals and should offer great returns to investors.

  5. Overall, industrial uses account for approximately forty-five percent of silver demand. It is used in electronic, automotive, photographic and solar applications. Both palladium and platinum are found in truck and auto catalytic converters to control discharges, and also an array of tech products like hard disk drives, LCD monitors, electrodes and batteries.
