Outward bound travel details Flight details 9th December Meeting point Barr Beacon sports hall car park – 03:30 leave Return travel details 14th December Leave airport - 5:00pm Estimated arrival at Barr Beacon sports hall car park – 8:00pm (depending on traffic) *Luggage – Only ONE cabin bag.  Maximum size of 56 x 45 x 25cm including handles and wheels. There is no weight restriction for cabin baggage.

  3. Sicily - Itinerary

  4. Accommodation • All medical/dietary requirements will be communicated to school/host family (information from the latest medical forms filled out). • Host arrangements - Boys with boys – girls with girls. • Private bedroom will be provided.

  5. Activities • The young people will not practise or take part in any adventurous activities e.g. horse riding or cycling. • Students will take part on guided walks up Mount Etna, so suitable footwear needs to be worn • Students may go to the beach with host family so appropriate swim wear and sun cream (in a clear container not more than a 100ml) to be packed just in case. • Weather will be around 13-20 degrees so pack suitable clothing

  6. Personal • Pupils will be provided with some key words and phrases to help them when they are with host families and out and about in Sicily • Pupils to bring with them passports and European Health cards. Please check they are in date • A guide of 20Euros a day but on the days below they will need a little extra • There may be a farewell meal on the Thursday evening, so pupils may want to bring a little extra money for this.
