  1. Judgment and Sanctification 2 Timothy 4:1-2

  2. Matthew 25:31-33 When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him,  then he will sit on his glorious throne. Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. And he will place the sheep on his right, but the goats on the left.

  3. Matthew 25:34,41,46 Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father,  inherit the kingdom prepared for you  from the foundation of the world. … Then he will say to those on his left,  'Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. … And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.

  4. 2 Timothy 4:1-2 (ESV) I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus,  who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom: preach the word; be ready in season and out of season;  reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching.

  5. 2 Timothy 4:1-2 (ESV) I charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus,  who is to judge the living and the dead, and by his appearing and his kingdom:

  13. 1 Peter 4:17-18 (NCV) It is time for judgment to begin with God’s family. And if that judging begins with us, what will happen to those people who do not obey the Good News of God? If it is very hard for a good person to be saved, the wicked person and the sinner will surely be lost!

  14. John 5:24 (ESV) Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.

  15. 1 Corinthians 11:31-32 (ESV) But if we judged ourselves truly, we would not be judged. But when we are judged by the Lord, we are disciplined  so that we may not be condemned along with the world.
