  3. Organized under parent organization, with regional councils identified by the Director DoD OSBP Membership Federal Government SB and Acquisition Professionals Industry SB Professionals Resource Partners All members entitled to vote New Charter

  4. Officers, Committees and DoD OSBP Officers (Executive Board) serve 2-year term (can serve more); January 1 of one year and will expire December 31 of second year Chair and Vice-Chair (DoD) Secretary and Treasurer (Federal Government) Quarterly virtual meetings with OSBP POC Standing Committees include Planning and Membership New Charter

  5. Council Meetings/Training Sessions Semiannually Assign Continuous Learning Points OSBP to assist with training efforts Regional Council By-Laws Each follow the DoD Regional Council Charter; however, each can create further by-laws related to their own specific Council New Charter

  6. Valuable, low cost training Meet with experts and get questions answered Become more productive Earn Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) Find Solutions Get Inspired Benefits of Councils

  7. Councils have training events; not meetings or conferences Utilize $ set aside specifically for training and professional development for your department or agency Update your performance objectives to include professional development; identify leadership and training opportunities through the Regional Councils Benefits of Councils

Utilize latest DoD policy regarding participation in Technical and Industry Conferences (Feb 20, 2014), from Under Secretary of Defense, Mr. Frank Kendall and accompanying email from the DoD OSBP Director, Mr. Andre Gudger Schedule Council training sessions concurrently with important outreach events Benefits of Councils
