  2. 1. ADAM Single Writer ADAM Single Writer support for all device of ETA Chips MCU family. It can work stand alone and also work with PC via USB interface. 2. H/W Configuration < Single Writer Body > < Pack Board > LAN Interface DIP Interface DIP Board LAN Interface Socket Interface Socket Board

  3. < Single Writer with Pack Board > DC Adapter Input USB Interface POWER Swich LCD Display Pack Board • Menu Key • Push to enter menu mode • Scroll to navigate menu • - Push to select menu Action 1) in AutoWrite mode, START Writing. 2) in Menu mode, cancel menu.

  4. 3. USB Driver Install 3.1. Install Sequency 1) POWER OFF 2) Execute ‘USB_Driver_Install.EXE’ which is supplied in software package. 3) Then follwing dialog box will be appeared. Select this option Click ‘Next’ Click ‘Next’ Click ‘Next’ Click ‘Install’

  5. Wait unitl progress completed. Click ‘Install’ Click ‘Finish’ 4) POWER ON. Wait until Driver Installation is finished.

  6. 2.2. Trouble Shooting If software can’t communicate with H/W, then do the follwing step. 1) POWER ON 2) Excute ‘Control Panel’ of MS-Windows. 3) Select ‘Device Manager’ Select this menu Click this button Double Click this item

  7. Then Click ‘OK’ Change COM Port number to another value from COM3 ~ COM9 Click this button 4) POWER OFF 5) POWER ON 6) Execute Writer Software

  8. 4. Software Configuration 4.1. Main Screen Device Select ROM Size Select Save Buffer to File ROM Size Select Memory Dump Option Bit Setting Program Option Program/Verify Action Status Display H/W debugging password. (only for developer)

  9. 4.2. Writing Sequency (ADAM24P20, 1KB, example) 1) Select Device and ROM Size Select HEX file in this dialog box 2) Download Hex File 3) Option Bit Setting ADAM24P20 has no OptionBit, So this button is disabled. 4) Program Option Setting Recommend use Default H/W Setting

  10. 5) Start Programming Press ‘Auto Write’ Button, then Programming will be start If push ‘START’ button of H/W, Programming also will be start After this point, ADAM single writer can act as Stand Alone mode.
