  • NC regularly confronted with the north hemisphere seasonal influenza epidemic (december-february)

  • Many exchanges with Autralia and NZ

  • Stop school closure

Data on pandemic h1n1 2009 as at 14 august
Data on pandemic (H1N1) 2009 as at 14 August pandemia:

720 Samples tested from May 2009 (CDC’s RT-PCR) :

  • 311 cases (H1N1) pandemic confirmed :

    • 45 imported : 28 Australia, 14 NZ, 1 Philippines, 1 Fidji, 1 de French Polynesia

    • 10 cases related to imported (CLCI)

    • 250 community cases (CL)

  • 409 negatives with 24 A seasonnal flu (H3N2/H1N1)
