Preservation, protection, and sustainability were words that were not even used in conjunction with the environment. Only within the last fifty years or so have we come to realize that the Earth’s natural resources are not going to last forever. In order to survive, we must develop alternatives to the natural resources normally used for fuels and make the best use of land that we possibly can. After learning about different topics of domestication and cultivation, write an essay that discusses how you would make sustainable changes as a restaurant manager. TOPICS • Agriculture • Urban Farming/Window Farming • Aquafarming • Oceans/Seas • The Dairy System • Recycling/Waste Essay Requirements Write a 5 paragraph essay on any of the subjects above. Paragraph 1: Introduction of the selected topic, Paragraph 2: Discuss problems with the current system. Paragraph 3: Suggest alternatives or better practices for the current system. Paragraph 4: How would you change your ordering approach as a manager to create sustainable means of purchasing for food and beverage items? Paragraph 5: Closing Summary. Include a source page using MLA format using the resources page.
