  1. MARLOW 78E Motor Yacht:

  2. THE BRAND NEW 2005-THE STORY… The Yacht was originally delivered in Italy and cruised the Med for a couple of years, to be brought to Florida for resale. The current owners saw in its low hours (400) the opportunity to have/make a new boat more quickly than a new build, and set out to render everything new, a process which of course took longer than expected.  The project is now completed, and the boat is available. Almost everything is brand new on this boat, all electrical infrastructure to USA standards, all control panels, all chargers, voltage controllers, all fully redundant and complete Furuno electronics, stabilizers, tender and engine, upholstery and interior decoration, fabrics, draperies, bedspreads, linen, water-maker, water sterilizer system, entertainment systems, fuel polisher, all household appliances(cooktop, dishwasher, oven, washer, dryer, refrigerators ), exterior cushions, all canvas, to the bones bottom paint (peeled, restored, barrier coat), boot stripe paint, alarm system, satellite and cellular wifi networks, stern thruster, freezers, redundant hydraulics (both engines),  all teak floors refinished, custom-built desk area, salon and dining teak tables, varnish, second anchor and chain, engine room fans and controls, complete updated exhaust system, inverter system, most of exterior teak, BBQ grills, motorized top deck awning, fire extinguishers, exterior lighting, Stidd chair upholstery, etc, etc. The operative words are “brand new”… not “like new”, … “brand new”. And some would argue that the Cats at 640 hours are just broken in. Price: $2,849,000 US

  3. THE BRAND NEW 2005-THE STORY… Continued: Only personal items will be taken off the boat; dozens and dozens of small items will be left on board, such as $2,000 worth of charts and cruising guides, etc. To get a boat in this condition, the other way is to call the manufacturer and order a new build at close to double the cost, wait 2 years, and then spend the usual 12 months ironing out the wrinkles in any new build. We have spent the two years to make everything perfect, with all work executed under close surveillance from the boat`s Captain. She is ready to go, now. MYLY (her nickname) is under Canadian flag (same easy transfer procedure as US flagged ship) and Florida sales taxes are paid. Currently located in Palm Harbor Marina. Owners and Captain on board. Welcome.

  5. CONSTRUCTION  • This yacht is constructed from the most modern materials and techniques providing more strength with less weight than possible with conventional technology. The use of Kevlar, modified epoxy resins and high density core materials allow the Marlow explorer to be stronger than the heaviest of hulls at a fraction of the weight. The use of modern honeycomb and structural foams is made on every counter, cabinet and sole in the yacht. The result is a yacht that cruises at 24 knots when conventionally constructed yachts would only achieve 19 knots with similar power. Even if speed is not a driving factor for you, the increased range and reduced fuel costs will be of great benefit.   • Proprietary high pressure lamination system, vacuum bagged       • Heavy duty 316l stainless rub rail • Molded FRP flush window frames                                                                                          • S/s ladder with teak steps cockpit to FB • Engineered sandwich construction throughout                                    • Bulwark doors and gates P&S • Laminated and tempered window glass • Portuguese bridge deck storage lockers • All decks teak • Velocity jet strut keels • Sliding hatch and door bridge to ph • S/s anchor roller • Transom door • VENTURI windscreen with s/s safety rail
