Jobs at the farm. • Picking : You chop the bottom of the shoot , so it can reproduce. • Bunching :You get a pile of 10 roses with a shoot of 30-80 mm, The farm sells 68k a year. • Disbudding : Take extra shoots off so they grow upwards instead of sidewards. • Bending : Where you bend is where the next shoot will be. • Growing technical work : Controlled humidity of the glass house. • Managing : Controlling the work environment , Making the workers feel happy and safe. • Cleaning : Brooming dirt , Cleaning toilets and good hygene.

Areas at the farm • Shed : The is where all the sorting's of the bunches are and The Coffee room. • Glasshouse : Controlled environment, where the roses , Capsicum and Basil. • Cool room : Roses stay in there and so they don’t die. • Dam / Water tanks : Give nutrients to plants holds 1 million Litres , 100 Mills fills it up. • Gas LPG Area : Supplies heat for the glass room. • Coffee Room : To have the lunch break to eat and drink. • Transport/ Access : The Van is to transport the roses. • Toilet : Clean hygiene , upstairs and next to the coffee room. • Computer room : Controls everything in the glass room.

Glass house • Light : Shades help the roses , white wash and no artificial lights. • Temperature : Controlled heating pipes and the natural light from the sun. • Humidity : If its not wet causes disease at night and 70 – 75 percent humidity. • Co2 : Co2 is pumped under the roses so they can breath. • Hydroponics :Controls Water and nutrients for the plants. • Irrigation system: Each plant has a drippen. • Water tanks : Water has nutrience for plants. • Boiler : Boils left over water to kill disease and bacteria.

  5. WATER h20 • 35mls per rose through the irrigation system. The draining basin from the Amazon covers 2,722,000 square miles. The water from the amazon is 100% pure rain water coming from God himself. The water is stored in water tanks The ordered water in the summer when the rain

  6. Flora and Fauna • In the controlled environment there is A flock of 50 cattle and 1 dog but in the natural environment there is a large majority of species that are unknown with over 115,000 undiscovered.
