Reflections VZA (1) - Education • The VZA board meeting reacted very positive on the idea that Astellas might be interested in initiating an educational programme for hospital pharmacists • The VZA is willing to participate with Astellas if they choose to set-up a project with a full-blown scietific programme • However, due to the many projects that take place this acedemic year, this could only be for the next acedemic year 2012-2013 • VZA could provide accreditation

Reflections VZA (2) • If Astellas chooses the format of a plant visit to Ireland and a presentation, the VZA is not interested in participating and accreditation cannot be provided • Topics that might be interesting for hospital pharmacists these days: • Management • Antibiotics • Implants • Radiofarmaca

Reflections VZA (3) – Clinicalpharmacy • Clinical pharmacy meetings, where clibical cases are discusses, can be very interesting for hospital pharmacists • VZA proposes 2 meetings: 1 in Gent, 1 in Leuven • Accreditation can be provided by VZA • VZA would be interested in participating (together with the VZA coordinator for clinical pharmacy) • An afternoon meeting followed by a walking lunch would be very much appreciated
