Current Progress since May 2005 • 22 x LSP provided RIS Live • 1 x Entire SHA fully live (all sites) • 1 x Scottish Health Board Live • DataCentre hosted RIS (Southern Cluster) • Standardisation of Codes, Outputs, Interfaces and working practices. • Rapid and repeatable deployment methodology.

  6. Perfect RIS • CRIS – Obviously! • Offers a standard method of data entry for all users • Offers clear and powerful appts system which aids workflow planning • Ability to produce the same stats on workload and modernisation for management.

  7. Record ir(ME)r information • Robust and secure integration to Trust/Spine services • Enhanced reporting tools DD & VR • Flexible statistical analysis for management, teaching and audit

  9. Dear Juddy – Agony Aunt • Things Trusts can be doing now • Assemble Trust Team • Talk to Local trust – pinch their homework • Think about codes – Local doctors and exams • Think about integration IE, PAS, OCS, RR, PACS

  10. Think about outputs Letters, Labels, Reports • Think about Infrastructure, Network, PC’s, Environment • Think about old data – Cleanup, clean system • DO IT NOW!
