Why a BI Tools User Group • Recognition that in some cases information needs cannot always be met with existing centrally supported tool suites. • The local vs. central data integration reality • Presentation, formatting, distribution limitations • Identify best practices and new approaches • E.g. embedding data warehouse queries, generating kml files, etc. • Minimize risk
