  2. How to Take a Screenshot on Samsung Galaxy Series Option 1: Using Buttons This works on almost all Galaxy phones or tabs, including Galaxy S6, Galaxy S5, Galaxy S4, Galaxy S4 Active, Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy Note 3, Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy Mega 6.3, Galaxy Tab 3 Pro, Galaxy S4 Mini, and Galaxy S3. 1. Press and hold the Power and Home buttons together. 2. Hold them tight until a shutter sound is heard or you see a visual indicating a picture was taken. 3. It is a little tricky that you need to hold the Power button slightly before pressing the Home button, and then hold them both down.

  3. Option 2: With a Hand Swipe If your Samsung phone is older than a Galaxy S4, you can take a screenshot using a hand swipe. 1.Go to Settings > Motion > Hand Motion, then check the “Palm swipe to capture” box. 2.Then find the screen you want to capture and set your hand vertically on either side of the screen, and then horizontally swipe your hand from left to right on the screen. When you hear the camera shutter and see a screenshot move across the screen, it means you have made it successfully. 3. You might need to have a few tries to make it.

  4. How to Take a Screenshot on Other Android Phones Taking a screenshot on other Android phones, like HTC, LG, Sony, Motorola, etc, is somewhat easy. If you’re running Android 4.0 or above, just press the Volume Down and Power buttons together for seconds. Then you will see an animation on the screen, indicating the screenshot is saved. You can find it in your Gallery app. What if you’re using Android 2.3 or below? Right here I will share you an app, Screenshot It, which lets you take a screenshot on all Android phones. Root is not required. 1.Run the app on your Android phone and it will instruct you to download and install a free desktop application on your Windows or Mac. 2.Once installed, connect your Android to computer and run the desk application, which will enable screenshots on your phone. 3.Disconnect your phone and now you can take screenshots whenever you want.

  5. How to Recover Deleted Screenshots (Pictures) from Android on Mac Sometimes you are scanning your screenshots or pictures but accidentally tapped the"Delete" button. Your screenshots are gone.
