  7. Reviews • “Italian director Carlo Carlei, best known for the dead-guy-comes-back-as-a-dog dramedy “Fluke,” is utterly in over his head with this adaptation of Shakespeare’s star-crossed tragedy. It’s not that the movie isn’t great looking, with stunning sets, sword fights and a nice serving of horseplay. But getting the baby-faced stars comfortable and making them compelling apparently were tasks far beyond his reach.”
