Fluency with Information Technology Mary Ma Computational Thinking: Overview Desktop Publishing with MS Word Develop proficiency in MS office tools, knowledge about Internet and computer use and functionality, basic knowledge in HTML and JavaScript. Making Information Available to the World: HTML Learned how to make webpages in HTML and to style page using CSS. Created Links and put everything online. Created MS Word file that included copy and pasting images, text wrapping images, textboxes, bibliographies, bulleted and numbered lists, and a table of contents. Visual Programming with Alice Used Alice to create animations, made variables, organized code with methods, and parameters. JavaScript Data Analysis and Visualization: Excel Presentation of Information: Powerpoint Utilized MS Excel to manage, manipulate, analyze financial data. Data comparison, formulas, functions. Conditional functions, creating tables and charts out of data, Displayed data from Excel on MS Powerpoint presentation. Utilized different slide designs, slide animations, headers and footers, and use Powerpoint to create a poster presentation. Utilized JavaScript’s dynamic HTML to create a list to verify an order in real time. Incorporated knowledge of HTML layout and CSS styling, to create a webpage with interactive buttons with functions.
