  2. I’m going to tell you about the 3/4s excursion to Sovereign Hill.

  3. On Wednesday the 28th of April the grade 3/4s went to Sovereign hill to learn about the gold rush.

  4. The bus ride there was about two hours and a half. I sat with Niamh. She fell asleep.

  5. When we got there everyone had their playlunch. After that we went to the educational activity we got to right on slate boards. The teacher also showed us the whip and cane. It was weird.

  6. After we were finished that went gold panning! I got two pieces of gold. We payed one dollar to get the bottle. I was happy when I found gold. It was hard.

  7. After the gold panning we had to go to the gold smelting. The gold was very hot.

  8. After the gold smelting we had lunch there was a strange duck in the lake we were sitting next to. It was very big and had black with white feathers.

  9. After that we went to the old days bowling I only had on turn. Everything there was made out of wood. I had fun.

  10. After the bowling we went to the olden days shops some of them were quite strange. When we went to the lolly shop I bought a giant lollypop then finally we went home.

  11. Niamh fell asleep on the bus again!
