  1. My Future Trip Traveling through Africa

Why Africa • I love to travel • Want to see the world in the best way possible and Africa seems like a good place to start • My parents met in Africa on the same safari I am going to take • My parents tell me all these amazing stories about traveling through Africa • What to see the wildlife in there habitat

  3. When I will be going I would hope to go in 2025. After being out of high school and get a good education then get a work full time and earn lots of money since the trip is very expensive, but I think it is going be worth it.

What my plan are I will be flying to Kenya (Jomo Kenyatta (NBO)) from Vancouver (YVR) and from the airport I will be taking a shuttle to my hotel I will stay in Kenya in the Dragoman hotel called Six-eighty I will be going to the hotel that Dragoman has there meetings at the day after which is at 10:00am. From the hotel I will be going on a safari from Nairobi to Cape Town

  6. Travel Companions I will not be having travel companions on my trip although that would be amazing, I have heard from so many that you meet so many new people when you are alone. I will be very scary going by myself but since I am going to be taking a safari I know I will be safe.

Safari Details 51 Days safari Through Botswana, Kenya, Malawi, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe Transportation I will be taking through the safari overland expedition vehicle, 4x4, private bus, ferry, Mokoro dugout canoe, canoe Accommodations: 85% camping and 15% in hotels Physical level is a 4/5 Cost: $4,794(CAD) + $3,080 KITTY (USD) + $500 (CAD) Deposit

  9. More to pack I will be buying nearly all that is on the list to pack since I know that I want to travel lots in my life so I will be using all these ideas more then once

  10. More important details • I have to get vaccinated • Passport will have to be updated • I will have to have a visa for all the different countries • I will have to get money in there currency

  11. Advice • Put it on your bucket list • See animals that are in there own habits • You will make friendships for life time • Best way to Africa

Leave no trace • Plan ahead and prepare – I will have booked and have gotten everything I will need from all the clothing to visas • Travel and camp on durable surfaces – Since I will be camping on the safari we will be indicated to camp on durable surfaces • Dispose of waste property – I will be using as little waste as possible • Leave what you find – I will not be taking anything I find • Minimize campfire impact – spread all apart and leave no trace of the fire after • Respect wildlife – don’t be too near the wildlife and let them be, we are in there land • Be considerate of others – I will be with the same people for 51 days respect all
