  1. BCOR 2400Research Experience Requirement • Research Requirement • You must complete this requirement before the end of the semester or you will receive an “I” for the course • 3% Credit for Research Work if completed during the semester in which you are enrolled in BCOR 2400... You receive a 0 for fulfilling this requirement in removing an I. • (Refer to the “Student Information Packet Spring 2013” file in the “Subject Pool Materials” folder on the Course Website for more details) • Subject Pool Administrator: Nassim Zanganeh • Research Requirement Faculty Coordinator: Professor Lawrence Williams • Three possible methods to complete

  2. Option A: Research Assistant • Find a tenured or tenure-track business school faculty • Agree to work as an unpaid research assistant throughout the semester • Hand in completed and signed research option form by the end of the third week of the semester (Friday, February 1).

  3. Option B: Article Critique • Read assigned research article(s) • Write a 8-10 page (single-spaced) critical analysis of the article(s) • Hand in completed research option form by the end of the third week of the semester (Friday, February 1).

  4. Option C: Subject Pool • Preferred (& easiest!) • Complete 6 research credits (3.0 hrs of research participation)

  5. Appointment Cancellations • Cancellations may be done via Sona Systems Website up to 24 hours in advance, after that please contact the experimenter directly. The experimenter’s contact information is provided in confirmation email when you sign up for an experiment, and also on the experiment management system website.

  6. How to sign up for studies • REGISTER at: http://Leeds-bus.sona-systems.com • Follow the directions (as shown next) • You need to use your CU email account to receive a password. • The password will NOT be emailed to an account that does not end in “colorado.edu”

  7. Make sure to select the right section!

  8. If you cannot login the first time with your password, try copying it from the email and pasting it into the password box.

  9. You will receive an automatic email confirmation for your scheduled appointment after you have successfully completed the sign-up process.

  10. You may cancel a study sign-up up to 24 hours before the study is scheduled to occur.

  11. Contact Information • If you have any questions regarding Sona Systems,participation credits, research experience requirements, etc. • FIRST: • Review these slides and Student Info Packet in the “Subject Pool Materials” folder on BCOR 2400 Course Website • Check your account by logging on to the Sona Systems website (http://leeds-bus.sona-systems.com) • THEN contact Subject Pool Administrator (a.k.a.
